How I began

It started with a gift

 

I love to bake and have started to explain my repertoire. I started with Mary Berry's

Baking Bible. Wonderful British recipes and getting to try some new flavor combinations. I got myself a kitchen scale for it. The British recipes are weighed in grams rather than using the standard measuring cups. But this really got me to the point where was I was willing to try new things. So my sister gave me a fantastic gift, A sourdough starter. It was truly unknown territory and I was so excited. This is where the journey has begun. So this blog is to cronical my experience with sourdough and baking.
